1. What languages do you offer?
Speakhabla currently offers professional communication training in English and Spanish.
Our focus is helping professionals communicate more clearly, confidently, and effectively in workplace situations.
2. What happens after I subscribe?
After you subscribe, you will receive an onboarding email with your next steps.
The email will include links for you to:
- Complete your BELA Assessment
- Schedule and attend your Discovery Session

3. What is BELA?
BELA, the Business English Level Assessment, measures your English level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or CEFR.
For English programs, your BELA results help us understand your current level and support the creation of your learning plan.
4. What is a Discovery Session?
Your Discovery Session is your first class with Speakhabla.
During this session, you will:
- Share your communication goals
- Discuss your job, industry, and professional needs
- Learn how your training program works
- Get introduced to the Speakhabla Training Dashboard
- Review how to schedule, cancel, and reschedule classes
- Understand the cancellation policy
- Help us gather the information needed to build your Monthly Learning Plan
5. What is a Monthly Learning Plan?
Your Monthly Learning Plan is the roadmap for your training.
It includes:
- Communication goals
- Pronunciation objectives
- Vocabulary and phrase targets
- Conversation themes
- Communication focuses
- Measurable outcomes
Every class is connected to your plan so your learning remains structured, personalized, and purposeful.
6. What is the Speakhabla Training Dashboard?
The Speakhabla Training Dashboard is your online learning dashboard.
Inside the dashboard, you can:
- View your class schedule
- Cancel or reschedule classes
- Access class recordings
- View AI class summaries
- Access learning materials
- Communicate with your teacher
- Track your progress
- View your Learning Plans and Lesson Plans
Everything is organized in one place.
7. How are my classes scheduled?
Speakhabla schedules your monthly classes for you based on your selected subscription plan, teacher availability, and your preferred schedule.
Your regular schedule helps create consistency and progress.
If life interrupts your schedule, you can cancel or reschedule a class through the Speakhabla Training Dashboard as long as the change is made the day before your scheduled class.
Classes cancelled on time may be rescheduled within two weeks. Same-day cancellations and missed classes are forfeited.
8. How do I cancel or reschedule a class?
We like students to follow a consistent class schedule whenever possible, because consistency helps create progress.
That said, we understand that life is full of interruptions.
Students may cancel or reschedule a class through the Speakhabla Training Dashboard as long as the cancellation is made the day before the scheduled class.
When a class is cancelled on time, the student may reschedule that class within two weeks.
If a student cancels on the same day as the class, or does not attend the scheduled session, the class is forfeited.
9. Can I change my subscription plan?
Yes.
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan if your training needs change.
Changes will take effect according to your subscription billing cycle.
10. Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. If you need a temporary break, you may also request a one-month pause instead of canceling your subscription.
11. Can I pause my subscription?
Yes.
Students may pause their subscription for one month if they need to take a temporary break from classes.
Pause requests must be made before the next billing period begins. During the pause period, classes will not be scheduled and the subscription will temporarily stop.
At the end of the one-month pause, the subscription will automatically resume unless the student requests a different change before the next billing cycle.
This option is designed for short interruptions such as travel, work demands, illness, or personal scheduling conflicts.
12. How often do I meet with my teacher?
This depends on the subscription plan you choose.
Your subscription plan includes a set number of training hours per week, and those hours can be scheduled in different ways depending on your goals, availability, and teacher schedule.
For example, if you choose 2 hours per week, you may schedule:
- One 2-hour class per week
or - Two 1-hour classes per week
If you choose 3 hours per week, you may schedule:
- One 3-hour class per week
- Two 1.5-hour classes per week — recommended
or - Three 1-hour classes per week
Speakhabla will help you choose the schedule format that best supports your progress and fits your availability.
13. Will I always have the same teacher?
Yes.
Your teacher is dedicated to your program and remains with you throughout your learning journey whenever possible.
This allows for greater consistency, accountability, and progress.
In some cases, a teacher change may be necessary due to scheduling, availability, or other circumstances. When this happens, the Speakhabla Training Dashboard helps us provide a seamless teacher handover by keeping your learning plans, lesson history, class summaries, recordings, goals, and progress information organized in one place.
14. Are the classes private or group classes?
Business Professional training plans include private 1:1 training with a dedicated teacher.
15. What do I need to participate?
You will need:
- A computer or tablet
- A reliable internet connection
- A microphone and camera
- A quiet place to participate
16. How is my progress measured?
Your progress is measured through:
- Monthly Learning Plan objectives
- Teacher observations
- Participation and performance
- BELA assessment results for English programs
